For my money, this is the best network special of the year. All the stars of Country Music and everyone performing their biggest hits of the year. CMA hosts Brooks & Dunn look like a shoe-in for Vocal Duo of the Year. I'm rooting for Carrie Underwood in a couple of categories, especially for her current hit "Befote He Cheats" and Female Vocalist of the Year.

Lot's of great music from Nashville tonight. Be there or be square!  

Well, I'm into the first hour of this show and it is everything I thought it would be. ABC if you care.

Saw some of it and it was a good show -- Awsome about Sonny James being inducted into the CM HOF -- there is a video running about Faith Hill's reaction when Carrie Underwood was announced as the Female Vocalist of the year -- kinda makes you wonder what that was all about.  Glad to see Brad Paisley get album of the year also.

I love country music!  I'm still wondering about Faith Hill's reaction.  She's saying it was just a joke.  Even Carrie Underwood's publicist is saying the same, as I hear it.  Most country music folk are just good down-home people.  I used to hang out at the Wildhorse Saloon in Orlando (Disney).  Man...I really miss it!

RW , I'm not a big country fan, but I did watch most of the show. Your gal Carrie Underwood is really something. WOW The producers of the show messed up having her start the show; everything that followed paled in comparison. Did I mention WOW?

Carrie looked spectacular during the show. Wow! That woman is gorgeous.

                    wasn't that the greatest!!.. I really forward to that every year..I loved it.. and yesterday I went to target and bought Montgomery and Gentry's greatest hits from 1999-2005..actually I was in the music isle for over an hour  with all those great country cd's .there's so many great country artist's I wanted to buy them all.

That was a great show!  Glad to see Brooks and Dunn win the "Song of the year" with "Believe".  That is an awesome song.  I believe they won video of the year as well for that song.  I must have good taste, because about a month ago, I went out and bought their CD, only because of that song.  I buy maybe 2 music cd's a year.  Who'd a thought?

Yeah, that was a great show. They have always put on a big production, but it is especially exciting when your favorite Country Music stars perform and then win! Man, I was all over that show and pretty pleased with the selections.
