Raplala Pro Fishing game

Featured Replies

Does anyone on the forum play this game?

If so, I simply cannot get past the 2nd tournament on this game.  I am having trouble with lure selection, and when I do catch a salmon, the fish always shake the hook.

Can anyone offer any tips to help me out?

Try upgrading your rod and line test; I had the same thing happen to me with the salmon until I figured it out.  One thing about this game though; it kinda gets me agitated and takes the fun and relaxation out of fishing.  Don't get me wrong, I grew up on video games but I don't think it mixes with fishing, at least not for me.  I don't even play it anymore.

Bass Fisherman,

I have it and it came with no instructions so learning the game was pain. Now that I can play it I do not like it. It annoys the crap out of me so I gave up on it....and the stupid lure that came with the game has never caught a fish.

Maybe I'll give both a shot again soon. Maybe not.

I agree with both of you two, the game is quite annoying.  Makes fishing alot harder than it really is.  I've decided to practice fish all the levels that I can,and then the river tourney should be easier.

Basically I see the whole game as an ad campaign for Rapala, with not much to do in the fishing aspect.

but I do like how I can catch 56lb steelhead and kings in 4lb test and a ultralight rod by winching them in (horribly unrealistic)

OK IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT A FISH AND WHAT LURES IT LIKES, GO TO THE FISHING GUIDE AND GO TO FISH SPECIES, THEN CLICK THE FISH YOU WANT, AND AT THE VERY BOTTOM UNDER THE PARAGRAPH, EVENTUALLY THE LURES THE FISH LIKES WILL POP UP....I HAVE IT ON XBOX

I just started playing the game again.  It can be pretty annoying but listen to your guide when he's not making fun of you!
