Its a 10 pointer, and i green scored it and it scored about 163 6/8.....which sounds big....the antlers are pretty massive....but does that sound too big for the picture?

Anyways it was my first evening out for our firearms season and i knew my uncle had a few big deer on his property so i was hoping to see one....annnnnd i did. For the past month i have been putting corn down in an area i like to hunt and it just snowed a few days ago and you could see so many paths leading to the corn so that was pretty promising. I got down there about 1:30 and about 2:15 i saw a yearling wondering about so i watched him for awhile....and didnt see another deer (this one) until 5:08... by the way it was like 15 degrees, anyways i was in the middle of taking off my hat and fixing my mask and i looked up and he was moving crosswise so i threw my stuff back on, grabbed my gun and waited for an open shot, he continued to move and never presented a shot until he moved 15 yards closer and one shot and he dropped straight to the ground...i had never done that before, it was a 35-40 yard shot....

....next year, im bow hunting

alright now that i shared mine i want to see some of ya'll success out in the field, so POST 'EM!

That's a great buck. 163 sounds a little big but you put the tape measure to it. Just looking at it and compairing it to mine on the wall I would say it's probably in the low to mid 150's. But those main beams are huge between G1 and G3. They may bring it back up to the 160's.

yeah i was thinking it would score in the 150s but i agree about the main beams, the biggest circumfrence i recorded (the least circumfrence between two of the tines)  was 6 2/8 inches and the G2 and G3 tines in the picture dont look as long as they really are esp on the left antler. Recorded spread was only 16 5/8 inches.
