bombed.  I have been.  I was bank fishing at a park when a bunch of geese took off and were flying my way.  I started seeing little ker-plunks in the water and was like "Oh crap".  it reminded me of a WW2 movie when the bombers would fly over open up the bomb doors and carpet bomb the place.  it wasnt pretty either.  

Oh man feel the cabin fever showering down on us all :oNow we are up to Goose Poop Stories!!!!! The Fork trip better come fast :

Hey fellas went out for the first time yesterday. Me and my fishing partner hit a couple of smaller ponds, shore fishing. In this one spot I was casting out to the other shreline kind of a pennisula/point. I threw a jointed Rapala right to the side and it was immediatly hit by a nice size bass. AT which point I heard a loud hissing and saw a huge brown thing moving on the point,behind a tree there. I dont know why but I immediatley thought BEAR!!!!!!!!!! So I start yellin over to ron that a bear was getting all nuts and I still have the fish on the line So I dont wanna loose the fish and I really set the hook and start running along the shoreline with my Rod still in hand Now mind you I was really scared of this "bear" and running fast and when I set the hook the bass came flying outta the water and wrapped around a limb on the tree FOUR FEET OVER THE WATER

Now the worst part #1 it was a goose not a bear Hey give me a break I grew up in Brooklyn I saw some thing big and brown and hissin I THOUGHT IT WAS A BEAR Ron was laughin so hard I thought he was gonna wet himeslf I never seen a Canadian Goose up close protetecting a nest before I JUST THOUGHT BEAR RUN.............. Anyway we shook the fish off the lure right back into the pond, the Goose went back to her eggs I left a 5$ rapala decorating a tree and Ron told all our fishing friends

Oh Im glad spring is here! What a great day and good memories and I get to be grateful for another day on Gods planet

When i was like 5 years old feeding geese bread one went up my shorts and bit me ( i got it on vedio )

I've had the same thing happen with the geese. Sometimes they make bombing runs on me. If they worked on their trajectory, I'd be in trouble. I know they're trying to do it too, they wait till the fly over me and then splooshes start happening in the water all over the place....

Geese can be formidable opponents, especially if they are nesting or have young.

I have been chased by them but never bitten or messed on.

Now, when they charge at me, I just hiss back or just say "go away" and they usually back off.

I learned how rough a bird can be when I used to raise Macaws.  With their wings flapping and their claws and beak grabbing at you they are a very agressive animal that usually will win a debate with a human.

Can you imagine getting into it with an eagle?  I think the eagle would win that battle.

My grandmother (rest her soul) was very well endowed. One Easter, as we are all out in the country getting ready for the Easter egg hunt, she got hit square in the cleavage! lol

Now, all the kids including myself thought this was just the funniest thing.

Then another time, in high school, I had taken the girl I was currently working on , surfing.  Well after a few hours of alot of fun and some good laughs, we settled down on the blanket.  Both laying on our sides, I moved in for the first kiss and got hit in the rib cage by Mr. Seagull.  dripped all down my side and on my belly,......funny as heck but a sure mood killer,lol.
