hey i was wonder who all get deer this year and would I would like to see some pics

I wish I could help you out with this one.  But I cant shoot straight.  Well atleast this year.

I didn't have much time this year to hunt. We had one of the best smallie bites around here in a long time in late Nov. and Dec and my spare time was on the river. I did manage to get in the stand on some evenings and even pulled  down on a few scrub bucks but, never hit the trigger on my release. My buddy bought a farm last year and had a great year on some nice deer. I have plenty of meat for the winter. Always some deer steaks or a roast on my smoker in the winter!!!

Marinate roast in Italian Dressing for about 2-4 hrs.

Prepare smoker with Hickory Chips and small pan underneath with two bottles of beer.

Cut small slits in roast and place 5 or 6 garlic cloves inside slits.

Rub roast with Frenches Onion Soup Mix.

Serve with fresh green beans cooked with ham hocks and potatoes and one med onion.

Dessert--- Gelato vanilla bean ice cream topped with raspberry syrup mixed with raspberry brandy.

Red wine---Alice White Shiraz

Hey FLuke what is the limit where you live?(i'm not calling you a poacher im just curious). where i live we can only take one.

My ex g/f's dad has been asked to help tone down a local population that has been doing some damage to a friends crops.

I have more Bambi in the freezer than I know what to do with.  So does everyone else he knows,lol.

Last count was like 9 does, 2 bucks.  

I still had some in there from last yr. with freezer burn, I won't let that happen again, waste of good food.

thanks, i shot it the first evening i went out. kinda a bummer cause i was hoping to string it out over the whole weekend and make more of a chase out of it. but believe me i was happy. that night it was sooooo cold, i think it was the first snow of the winter here in ks and it was in the teens with the sun going down and windy too. but it was cool to see all the tracks and urine in the snow right out in front of my stand.

I got a nice 8 point buck on opening day of gun season this year.  I have pictures but no way of posting them...  The inside spread was 16in. My previous best was a spike, so im really happy. I also got a nice doe.  

thats sweeet. i got an 8-pointer of about the same size last year. haha my mom was buggin me about shooting a doe, but duck hunting took precedent
