Hey Burley I agree with you about the SEC but the real challange is gonna be for whole Confrences to catch up with the ACC and the Big East, they are getting stronger all the time. Lsu,Florida,UK are all great programs so they will always be in there.

I will bet anyone any where that the Big East becomes thwe dominant confrence within the next 4 years. They sent 4 to march madness 2 to the final 8 one to the final four This is only the 2nd year of the realignment LOOK AT THE CONFRENCE WITH THE NEW TEAMS THE ACC HAS HAD A FINAL FOUR TEAM IN THE LAST 8 finals

I respect all opinions on the website, however, you've got to be crazy to think that Kentucky won't be back winning national championships. We're the most storied program in the history of college basketball. We've had a couple down years, but now there is an excitement in the air once again! Tubby is gone and I'm glad. Great man; I think he'll do well at a lesser program like Minnesota.

Do not underestimate the fans that make up the Big Blue Nation. Yes, we have lofty expectations, but that comes from years and years of winning. Other programs and only hope to replicate our success. Pearl is doing nice things and Knoxville and Billy D is establishing a good program in Gainesville, but two titles do not a dynasty make. Face it- Kentucky has been, is now, and shall always be the standard bearer in the SEC. So before we start writing off my boys in Lexington, let's just remember a couple numbers-

7 National Titles

13 Final Fours-

43 SEC Titles

25 SEC Tournament Titles

and oh yeah, more wins THAN ANYONE ELSE IN BASKETBALL

Of course Turgeon is good.  He is a Jayhawk.  I belive he was on the "short list" when we hired Self as well.

Good hire for both Kentucky and aTm.  Former KANSAS player to coach in aggieland and Billy G. going to coach in an arena named after a former KANSAS player.
