I gotta agree w/P-Rock. Take classes - all the time. Join a gun club and go at least monthly. And above all, NEVER brandish a weapon unless you're prepared to kill or be killed. It's not a toy to be waived around in an attempt to threaten or scare people. Somebody just like you might pull out their weapon and take you out if you do.

I shoot quite a bit. Probably  1-2 times per week.  Rifles, shotgun, and pistol.  I do shot quite a bit.  But anyways.  I agree with him too.  The only way I would ever unholster it would be if it was a life threatening instance.  Seriously hope I never have to.    I'm not a person that feels I need to show it off because all it will do is get me in trouble.

Sometimes unholstering is all it takes to diffuse the situation.

In FL you can not draw your weapon to win an argument.(That will get you 3 years with "Bubba")

Not an argument.  If you've got a couple of hood rats moving in, sometimes all it takes to dissuade them is the glint of a streetlight on a holstered sidearm.
