I just noticed that ReelMech is listed as an ex-member. Does anyone kow what happened? I don't how I missed this. I'm pretty bummed I was planning on shipping my stuff to him this winter. Anyone know anyone else they would recommend for servicing reels.

Never mind, appears it is just a glich .  I have my man for reel servicing.

I am not aware of anything, but there have been glitches in the system before.  I hope it's a glitch. :-/

Hey Dave, did you ever consider keeping a separate user ID along with Reelmech?

This way you could post technical replies to rod/reel issues as reelmech, but when you want to wade into some of the more controversial stuff, you can do so as just a regular member and not an advertiser.

Yup thought about it but Glenn doesn't like it so I thought I would play fair...I guess I could just keep this ID and start over, heck the post count is just a number anyway...The banners are still rotating on the forum pages...

Glenn is working on it, but even if he can't get that profile back, we can use "the"reelmech or something and the post count can be restored either way.

Sorry to get everyone worried over nothing.  I'm aware of the glich now and will keep it in mind the next time I notice something that seems completly crazy.

I say if you guys can't get the profile back make him sign up as the poster formely known as ReelMech.  He can be the Prince of reel servicing and rod making.
