WHY?

Featured Replies

I've notice our web page Bass Fishing Resource Guide takes for ever to load up. sometimes kicks me off. >:(

This happens anytime, even when I hit reply. Thought it was my line-but, at work(high speed) it does it there too. :-?

any thoughts, tips or why? :-?

I believe this has been posted several times.  I think they said that the bandwidth coun't support the large activity of the forums....But for some reason, BassResource.com has been very, VERY fast for me the past few weeks

i agree with hookem...has been really fast on my end too lately

There are times it won't even load for me on cable connection....I alway keep my fingers cross it'll load.i also thought my computer was going slow until i realize every other site was working great.

At my end, early in the day is best.  During the week, around 4PM when I get home from work, it gets so bad I just wait until the next AM to log back in.  I imagine the afternoon sees a lot of traffic here and the band width has a hard time keeping up.

The problem recently has been Yahoo's crawlers overwhelming the site.  I've been working with Yahoo over the past several weeks to resolve.  It's slowly getting better as a result.

sometimes I get an internal error within the site. I can click (sometimes) on the articles to read more and it takes a while for the page to load, but when it does an internal error report pops up and says something about Port 80...(btw I am not a computer geek I do not know what port 80 is!  ;D)

has anyone else seen this error?
