Here in Jacksonville NC, the gas is about 2.71 a gallon.  NC state tax on the petrol is outrageous. >

I think I need to move to Virginia. Gas here is $2.79. I am sure there are more expensive places to fill up than here though.

Here in S.E. Michigan, gas is around $2.80 per gallon.

Well... I'm not sure about the price of milk, but today's gas prices were:

Boat: $2.61 (regular unleaded)

Truck: $2.11 (E85)

Gas here is around $2.59 - $2.64 a gallon.  Milk is $3.80.

Along with the rants and raves of milk and gas. I have a young Marine at work who pays around 1.50 for a gallon of freagin water. I laugh at him every morning when I fill my bottle from the fountain for free.
