tilapia lure??

in a local pond close to my house the baitfish mostly seem to be tilapia, so i was wondering if anybody on this site new of any kind of crankbait that resembles a tilapia?

I disagree with you.  using a bait that resembles what bass are eating in the lake will always work.

x2  the Tru-Life swimbait that Tru-Tungsten makes is an incredible tilapia imitator.  I also strongly disagree with Bass-Brat's opinion that matching the hatch isn't necessary.  Imitating local baitfish gives you one more advantage on the bass.  

I'm not sure if there is a tilapia colored crankbait out there.  If I were you, I would get a few of my favorite baits and send them to someone to get custom painted.  That way, it matches the tilapia perfectly, and you have confidence in the crankbait your throwing.
