I must admit I did not think your undefeated Jayhawks were for real at all.  However, after so many clsoe games later year and actually watching them last night i'll admit they are much better than I thought.  How long has it been since ya'll had a decent football team?

Don't quote me on this but I think KU had a good football team back in the 40s.

And last night I thought we just played mediocre :.

We/I have been really pleased with the team Magino has put on the field since he has taken over.  I think it was '04 when we could start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  Since then it has been a steady improvement year after year.  Last year we were a top 20-25 team that could not finish games, thus kept us out of a bowl (even though we were bowl eligible) and out of the polls.  We had so many games last year that we would jump out to a pretty sizeable lead just to blow it in the second half.  But that's part od the game and Magino made it a point to fix that this off season.  So far ... so good.

We have got some tough games coming up .... A&M at their place, Nebraska at home, Okie St away (I think they are a very underrated school) and then the big one, Mizzou at Arrowhead.

So yes they appear to be for real.

And don't forget that Nebraska will be looking for a new coach, as will A&M.

So you may lose your coach if he continues to do well.

KU is a great story this season.  

They should defeat Nebraska but A&M and Okie State could be problems.

KU lost the Orange Bowl to Penn State 1/01/69.

I don't recall anything special since then.

(Misouri played in the Orange Bowl the following year...and haven't been back, either).

As an MU fan, (now that you've stopped reading) I have to say that KU has put a team on the field that makes me nervous. Imagine if Chase Daniel was throwing the ball around for them.  

KU and Mizzou are my North choices, I really like Mizzou and the Texas kid at QB, Chase Daniels.  

We will see soon enough just how good KU is.

I think (hope) aTm will be a good game.  OSU depends on which team they show up with, Ne. and ISU "should" be wins but ya never know!  The tiggers, however could beat us like a stepchild.  Although our 5' 10" QB has had a good year thusfar, Daniels is scarry good.  Normally this time of the year I am counting down the days till the first roundball game, but this year is wierdly exiting for football.  

Not only has Fatgenio put together a good team they have done something BETTER than going undefeated...................They are undefeated against the spread as well...now that is an acomplishment!  

As a K-state fan I must admit I have been on KU (against the spread) since game 1 this year (except for one and I bet you can guess which).
