Just another "average" girl.   :o

I read the story in 11th grade, it's got a pretty good plot. Can't wait to see the movie.

300 was alright, but you can definately see the computer graphics. I would like to look like those guys did on 300 when I turn 30-40 years old lol!

I got a lot of working out to do then lol! ;D

And she is going to be the best part of the movie!!!

Anybody see it? They are playing it at the local IMAX so wondering what it might be like in that format?

I'm with you.  I didn't see 300, but I think alot of moviemakers go overboard with the computer graphics and animation to the point that the movies don't even look real.  That's the first thing I noticed about Beowulf and it turned me off very quickly.  I agree that the story is good.  Maybe I'll catch it on DVD.

I saw the previews for this movie it looks good. I would also like to see the mist. But I think iam going to read to book first. I don't think I could watch the movie 300 after what I saw on the history channel. I watched like a two hour special about what happend and how it went down. So I guess theres no need to watch the movie. I really know what happend.

The movie is really nothing like what happened.  The movie is based upon a graphic novel, not actual history.

I think the graphics effect is totally cool and fully intended.

The whole idea is to give it a surreal quality like a computer game.

I love the "look"

Lol the cinemotography isn't close to 300. The movie is entirely in CGI.

Beowulf is one of my favorite stories ever, but that does not necessarily a great movie make.  If any of you have seen the 1999 version starring Christopher Lambert you know what I mean.  I am looking forward to the new version though.

X2  ;)

It's a good story, but I hate to disagree with you.   Angelina Jolie is an average actress in my opinion.  I can't think of anything in the past 5 years she has been in that I really liked.  I think the only reason she is still in movies is because of the 'Eye Candy' factor.  It should still be a good movie though.   :)

I think Jessica Biel is a better all around actress, and she doesn't have to flaunt fake lips.   ;D

Yes, she may be "just eye candy", but DAAAYUUUMMM what eye candy ;D!! Sorry, just couldn't hold it in :-[.

Never judge a book by the movie ;)...

I don't know who exactly you are disagreeing with.  I didn't see mention of AJ being a great actress.

But I did some in depth research.

In the opening post on this thread is the picture of Angelina Jolie in the film.

Here's a recent pic. of Jessica O'bese.

Seems like a no brainer to me
