WVU Sweeps UCONN 66-21, National Title Bound

Featured Replies

I think the title says it all  ;)

I can't wait for the game tonight to see who we'll be playing.

well the game tonight wont decide who plays in the National Championship. Because whoever wins the game tonight has to play Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship. Assuming the Sooners win that game  believe Ohio Stae will be in the BCS Title game

I don't know, I just can't see Oklahoma winning in the Championship.

Yea the way Mizzouri is playing it doesn't look realistic but Oklahoma has Sam Bradford who was injured in their losses. Either way the Big 12 Championship will be a great game.

I really am loving this game this evening, it will definitely lead up to a solid Big 12 Championship...I love college football so much better than the NFL.  Key thing here is that it's not about the money, it's about the raw talent.

I don't think you want to start calling national title yet Troutfisher. One more game to go and the way this year has been for upsets, I'm not getting too sure of anything. :-X

They did play good football today, let's hope they continue to bring their A-Game.   ;)

WVU is a great team but I would like to see them play some more strong teams before I can really say they belong in a national championship game. I don't have anything against WV, in fact, I'd like to believe they are the real thing, but they have played a relatively weak schedule so I'd like to see how they stack up in their bowl game, whichever one they end up playing in. I wish there was a playoff system, there would be more good games AND a longer season. Lord knows what I'll be watching once college football ends...basketball?  :'(

That's the thing, sometimes they show up, other times, they look like a high school team.  :o

I find it hard to believe that a team in the BIG EAST with one loss has a shot to play in the title game.....I'm shocked. Sure WVU has a decent team but they play in the BIG EAST. The BIG EAST!!

If the BCS wants to put one loss teams that play a weak schedule in the title game, Hawaii should be a shoe-in....they're undefeated in a weak conference.

Hawaii is getting hosed all the way around.

I never have thought the computers were fair.  With that said, it is usually WV getting hosed by the computer.  I'll take it this time around.  That Hawaii team needs alot more recognition.  They are tuff!   8-)

Yeah, I hear you man. I'll be pulling for WVU if in fact they get in the title game just because they are close to home but as a longtime Hokie fan, I won't be happy about it.

And just think....if VT had played 60 minutes against BC instead of 58, they might have a shot at playing for the title against WVU.....wouldnt that be a game!

How many upsets of 1 and 2 have happened this year, compared to last year?  I mean, every week is so exciting to watch.  I personally like to see upsets, it just proves that anything can happen.  8-)
