So besides othere things I've always liked nice watches.  This new watch company should be a big hit when they come to the states next year.  I need another watch like I need another piece of fishing tackle. ;D

This is one of their models that has my interest.

That's mean.  This one below is my favorite ever.  It got a lot of interest.  It was stolen about a yr ago and I didn't even know it was still made till I just searched it.  Check out how it opens like a camera ;)

I used to weld for a living...never wore one of those!  :o

Robert,

Why would you want a welders watch?    :P

Rolex, Piaget, Omega, et al.  Top of the line and top of the price range.  I wore an Omega "certified chronometer" for twenty-five years, and then the old gal died.  Couldn't find anyone to repair it, least of all Omega.  I've since been wearing a battery powered Seiko, which is a helluva lot more accurate than my "Certified Chronometer" ever was.

That said, I love the photo of the Welder that you posted.  That watch is a real eye catcher.

How much is that in US dollards. ::)

The one Robert has there is about 675 buck US.

That is a cool watch Robert.

I like nice watches too, I just can't force myself to buy most of them. I bought

my wife and I, His and Hers Movado watches a couple of years ago. They cost

a chunk of money but I sure like mine. My wife doesn't like hers because she

has a hard time telling what time it is since it has no numbers or lines or anything.

I like the first one on your wrist.  Also like that fully stocked bar I see in the background.   ;)

DEAL!!!!   ;D

I've never seen so many different kinds of Tequila in one place, lol.  I especially liked the story behind each bottle and where they came from.  Very cool bar.

The "Storm" line of watches was very unique when they first came out. One of them (Navigator?) even had a butane lighter (for cigars) built in to it.   It seems the camera one, like my old one is the only "unique" one in their line up anymore.  They had some really cool ones, and not too pricey, they avg around $200

Seeing the old camera one again makes me realize I need to get around to replacing it one of these days.  I LOVED that watch, one of the few physical things I have that I got attached to.  I've never seen anyone with another one, I guess I always figured mine would show up on the wrist of someone I know, being so original, but never did.

I guess my Swiss Army watch just can't enter the discussion but I love it.

Why not Sam?  I'm a HUGE fan of Victorinox, I really dig their clothing line and they make some very nice watches as well.

I have had the watch for 15+ years and it is great.

Not as pretty or stylish as your watches, but it keeps the time correctly.

Loved seeing those watches.

What a collection!

I would love to someday own an expensive watch but I think if I ever scratch it or drop it, I'd cry like a baby.  ;D

For now I really like my Casio pathfinder. I know its just a plastic digital watch but it has some really nice features.

solar power so it really doesn't have to be serviced, atomic time, digital compass, barometer/thermometer, altimeter, world time, and alarm of course.

The two things I dont like is if you are wearing the watch, the temperature reading is not really accurate because of your body heat and it doesn't have the tides reading like some fisherman watch.

that welders watch would look sick if you were castin' a shimano core or abu black max ;)

Here's mine:

I had an Rolex GMT Master II that my parents gave me for a college graduation present.  I wore it for years then is started to gain time.  At the time, it was $350 to take the back off and diagnose the problem.  I ended up selling it back to the jeweler my parents bought it from for the same amount they bought it for.   Used the money to buy a Weatherby rifle.

The I bought a Rolex stainless Oyster Perpetual Date.  Then I decided I wasn't the Rolex type, sold it, and bought a Sako rifle.

Bought the Seiko and haven't looked back.  Keeps perfect time, is built like a tank (only watch I've seen heaverier than my old GMT), and feels good on my wrist (slightly curved edges in the bracelt).

I've got a Seiko Diver's automatic for a beat-around watch.

redsyn,

Scratches add charachter to any watch.  :)

I think this is probably my favorite.  Stainless Rolex Daytona with black face.

Nice looking watches. I am still entry level at the watch game with Tag S/el had it for about 12 years now though. Been thinking about trading up though. There are just so many options.
