Okay, as a Missouri Tigers alumni, I don't think I have EVER rooted for Kansas, but tonight I'm a Big 12 fan! So, what's the skinny?

Anybody know what a Hokie is???? I can't root for something I don't even know what it is......at least we can assume a Jayhawk is a bird!

Should be an entertaining game with KU's powerful offense and VT's dominering defense.

I can see a close game going into the fourth quarter with the Hokies pulling it out.

Then again...I think of the LSU whitewash of the Hokies and wonder if that will be a repeat tonight?

Either way, it should be a great game.

Torn between rooting for KU, our neighbor and VT where my niece just graduated from last May.

Decent game, kinda wanted VT to win.  Sorry KU, they are just closer to home.

Tech's secondary made some important mistakes and they just don't have a good QB. Other than that, I have to say, Ore looked better than he has all year and that trick punt return was AWESOME! I think if Tech had a decent quarterback, they could be a much, much better team. As the game showed though, Kansas just straight outplayed a more talented team. Kansas' QB was very impressive as was their big fullback and d-line.

Congrats KU, and congrats to you also KU.   Way to go, first BCS Bowl game ever, and a 12-1 record.  

I look forward to next years wagers.

KU played their best game and they did what they had to do. Seems they could do no wrong most of the night. The KU coaching staff was clearly in the zone and made good calls the entire game.

There were several things Tech could've/would've/should've done different but we know how that goes..... :

KU Bassmaster, send me my new avatar and I'll get it up there.

At first I thought the bet was to just have the loser pick something out themselves, but since you left the door open ... ;D

It definitely wasn't the most exciting game, but it was the most competitive BCS bowl thus far so it made for a pretty good football game.

These bets are fun. I will have open bets to any one who wants a piece next year ..... or even this basketball season if anybody wants a shot at that (but I would advise you not to take that )
