I just saw the weather and there saying the temps are going to be like 5-10 degress. Then you add the wind and wow. I wasnt alive when the first ice bowl happend. But this looks like its going to be colder then the first ice bowl. Its going to be a tuff game for both teams.

yes sir she will be a cold one .... i may get tickets to this one ..... eighter way it will be a great game .... we shouldnt have too much trouble witth  grant runnin so strong .... go pack go to the bowl ,,, remember our last bowl winn ,,, who did we beat ???? was it the pats ???? dont worry ill wait  :D

If both the pack and the pats win its going to be a one sided super bowl. I know we beat them once but this is not the same team.

Great news about the weather.

Eli is from New Orleans; played college ball at Ole Miss; and he is not used to the cold weather.

This is another good sign for the Packers.

Of course, having Eli as the Giants QB is a good sign, too.

Another Manning goes down this weekend.

The latest Weather Channnel forecast calls for Light Snow Showers, wind, and high of 4 and low of -3. If these temps hold to be accurate, and it drops two or three degrees after dark. . . BRRRRRR!! :o

I think it was something like -17 in the original ice bowl, but with wind chill this one's looking to be pretty chilly. I wonder if all those young guys will do without the sleeves this time around?

I thought this was the same forcast for last week in Green Bay. The weather said flurries and it looked like a blizzard there.

Either way, Eli's handwarmers wont help him. :)

it'll be a cold one in hell if the packers manage to beat the pats. i don't see it happening this year, better luck to favre next year or the year after, or the year after, or the one after that... ;)

Update on the weather for Saturday:

Still calling for some light snow and a 4 degree high, but the low is now projected at -6.  How about a 0 degree start for the game?  Ice bowl #2!  Don't underestimate this Packer team.  To me, they look about as good as the Super Bowl team of the nineties, minus Reggie and the run-stopper (Gilbert ?) on the line.

Hmm...

You think the game will still be sold-out?

::)

The way I here it, nothing can keep the Packer fans away.  We have a retired couple in our neighborhood who are from there.  They've had (and still have) season tickets to the games and have had them for around 15 years.  He said he got on the list in 1973.  They fly up for a couple of home games and let their family use them the rest of the year.  I think if there's any "diehard" fans anywhwere, they are bound to be in Green Bay.

Every single home game for next year is all ready sold out. The ticktes always go fast for home paker games.

the season ticket holders recieved there tickets today ..... ive already called 4 people i know that are season ticket holders ,,,, none have any seats to sell ..... the news last night said there are around 50 hotel rooms left in the green bay area ,,, this before the season ticket holders even recieved thier tickets ..... this game will be sold out ,,,, last i heard ticket king will have a few tickets left at top dollar .... this town is electric now ,,, the packer nation is already here in full force .... local bars ran outta beer last night ... this town is buzzing ,, i cant wait for kick off  ;D

Just kidding, I know how you guys are.

I've spent some time in Wisconsin, too.

You will run out of beer about two days

after you run out of cheese and brats!

8-)

I don't think Wisconsin will ever run out of beer, sour krout, brats or chesse. No that I think if it I could really use a brat with some sour krout and a gunniess.

I thought that the Packers were a football team, not hockey?

Oh, my mistake... ;)

To me, they look about as good as the Super Bowl team of the nineties, minus Reggie and the run-stopper (Gilbert ?) on the line.

You must be talking about Gilbert Brown, The Gravedigger. He is still very active in the local community. He also is now part owner of the Milwaukee Mile. He is very approachable and fan-friendly.

I saw you guys were talking about home games being sold out. Tickets are not the easiest thing to come by. The Pack have sold out every home game since 1960. And that includes the decade of the 80's where we stunk so bad we were the laughing stock of the NFL. Coaches used to threaten to trade a player to Green Bay if they didn't play up to their potential.

Heck, there literally isn't even standing room at the pre-season practices the public is welcome to....practice! What team other than the Packers sell out practice? Without a doubt, the most dedicated fans in the world....kinda neat. People round here really do bleed green and yellow. Go Pack!!!

My fantasy football trip has always been to come to Lambeau and experience all of that! I'm sure it's awesome. In the spot this morning on ESPN, the young Packer players were saying they were going with short sleeves. There's a fine line between brave and crazy. Like last week, you'll notice that the old vets (Brett) have enough sense to wear sleeves. I can see going sleeve-less in 30 degree temps, but single digits. . . that's just

I can't wait for the game to start. Go Pack Go!!!

NEWSFLASH:

[move]HEATWAVE COMING TO GREEN BAY![/move]

I just checked the latest Weather Channel forecast for Green Bay on Sunday. The temperatures are warming to a sweltering 6 degrees for a high and only 0 for a low. There's also a 30% chance of snow flurries for Sunday. Flurries were expected for last weeks game, too.
