Last time this guy did this, he never budgeted where the dough was coming from, and wiped out the whole surplus, now we are in a defecit situation and have a war to pay for and he's at it again I don't understand this

1.  It's only a proposal. Nothing has happened yet.  So don't go spending money you don't have.

2.  This has the potential of getting political.  Muddy's comment is over the line already.

Glenn: This was not coming from a political veiwpoint. This was coming from a paper a fellow student did in our economics course. His paper dealt with historical tax breaks that were popular with the voting public that in retrospect caused more harm than good. I did not offer a political platform or support for a party I stated what Greenspan said about the net result of the last tax rebate.

That under/over 110K thing is crap.  My wife and I pay taxes, and are taxed at a higher right, and now we're being excluded from the rebate.  Garbage.

non-political: discussing what you're going to do with the rebate (if you get one)

Political: discussing the proposal itself.

I was just joking about my rebate, I don't never get one anyway. :-/
