Fluke, I seldom stay up this late, so how am I to know that Glenn chooses to bring the site down at the same time every night.  I'm smart and good looking, but I'm not clairvoyant.  So it all boils down to I'M STILL REALLY HACKED OFF.  So, what time does our fearless leader choose to bring the site down every night?  That sort of information would help a lot with bringing my blood pressure back into the normal range.

At midnight EST every night. It is usually down for 15 to 30 minutes. It's what needs to be done to keep the site from shutting itself down the next day.

What could you possibly have to say at 2am that's so darn important that it HACKS you off besides

Apologies for the unscheduled stop/starts (outside of the usual midnight maintenance).  I'm working on the slowness issue with the tech guys, which requires the server to be rebooted from time-to-time.

Hope to have everything fixed today, but please bear with me in the interim.
