new hunting and fishing channel

Featured Replies

Hopefully this is true.  I read on a another forum that this will be 24/7 hunting and fishing.  Which means no more panning for gold or morons flipping there trucks over trying to climb rocks.   A true hunting and fishing only channel.   All I can say is about time

http://www.pursuitchannel.com/  Heres a link check for yourself.  Supposed to happen in the first qaurter of 08.

Ya but will it be on basic cabel?I don't have ondemand or anything like it.

Hopefully COX carries it  ::)

will it be on directv?

It would be nice if it worked that way, but I bet they find that fishing/hunting alone won't pay the bills.

I got the sportmans channel when I got the new cable box. I can tell it would be worth the money to order it. Most of the fishing shows I saw wernt adds. Click the producers link on the top. They list the shows that will be on it. Most of them shows are allready on vs or oln.

My HBO just disappeared off my cable.  I called to ask why and they told me they just went digital.  I took my old boxes in and got digital boxes and came home and hooked them up.  NO HBO.  That's separate now.  On top of that, I got all the old channels I had before, 3 more jewelry shopping channels, about half a dozen other channels I'll never watch, and a plethora of PPV porno channels.

The digital boxes have been re-wrapped and are in the back of my car waiting to be returned tomorrow morning.  I'll stick with basic cable.

My grandparents have cable and iam trying to get them to jump to dish. They ended up losing espn news a few months ago. But they got like 10 relgion channels. Now I call that a unfair trade.

Outdoor channels = 3 hours of 'outdoors' programming, 21 hours of paid programming.

and a plethora of PPV porno channels.

You say that like it's a bad thing!  ;)

I finally dumped cable and went to Direct TV.  I've noticed the Outdoor channel has way more hunting programs than fishing which makes no sense since fishing has far more participants than hunting does..

CAN"T WAIT TO CATCH THIS GUYS NEW SHOW:

Isn't that what Versus and OLN initially tried to be? Seems I've heard this story before. ::)

I was kinda thinking the same thing too.  Just have to wait and see I guess

It varies by the season.

But if you want fishing shows, Versus is your best bet.
