What colors would you need to cover all situations regarding water and color clarity

I went with

1. Amercan Shad

2. Tennesee Shad -  Looks like most baitfish

3.. Aurora Green Perch - Muddy/Dingy/Stained

4.  Pearl Ayu  - Clear

5.  Chart. Shad -  Same as Pearl Ayu

So that got me thinking, some of the colors overlap so no need to spend money on both... ie ... the Pearl Aye lure should work when the Chart. Shad works as they are similar in color.  Same for A. Shad and C. Shad.  Same for Aurora Green Perch and Black and Gold.  What do you guys think, no need to have both when one works if the other should.  Do you think this is true, or does pattern have an influence?  Thanks

I fish the Baby Bass mostly, sometimes the MS American Shad

and occasionally the Original Tennessee Shad. The other 10 or 12

never get wet, but I got 'em "just in case!"

Check out Ghost Minnow too - that's one of my favorites, if not my  very favorite. It's very subtle, and my go-to color pattern on tough days.

Ghost minnow is my favorite color for clear water. The slender pointer in ghost minnow is a great choice for smallmouth in the spring. Misty shad and American shad are also great colors.

That's a great color, but the paint chips off so fast it's ridiculous. I have two in that color, and there's almost no blue/black left on the sides. They still work, and I still use them, but I just think they could do much much better with durability.
