Ya I'm gonna miss him too. I've been on here a while, but not that long. And the time i've been on here hes been a great help to me. So long Avid :'(

Wow quite a few edits in a few of those posts and too bad, he had a great way of injecting humor into things.

Thats crazy! I wonder what really happened. Why he really left. That is just way to unfortunate.

Let's just say that Avid and the "Management" agreed to disagree and leave it at that.  I'll miss him, but it was Avid's decision to depart.

I will not ask for details,nor is it really my business.I dont know anybody personally on this site.

One thing that needs to be said though is: without a few people like him in a place like this, then what do we have? Nothing,and things could get a little bit on the boring side. My .01 worth on the matter. :-/

You had nothing before this site was made.  ALL members and guests bring this forum to life, not just one individual.  No one forces you to leave unless you break the rules set forth by Glenn, which are very clear.  Most of us may never know what caused his departure but I'm sure it was his choice.  He will be missed by many but don't insult the rest of us here that contribute to what this site really is by saying it is nothing without him.  There are many great, experienced fisherman on here that have a wealth of knowledge and take the time to pass that knowledge on to those who ask.  This forum does not revolve around one individual but rather exists because of the members that put forth their knowledge, humor and ideas.

            And that's MY .01 worth on the matter.

Agreed it takes all kinds of people to make a place like this and everone has their certain contributions.

Was just trying to say that is is nice to have a few that go against the grain and always have something witty to say about things.I get a crack of peoples unique sense of humor.It fascinates me the things people can think of sometimes.It makes it fun to read.

I just dont think the site would be AS good if everthing was just all strictly business and a bunch of uppity anal retentive conservative BS.

So just didnt mean to offend you there,or anyone else.Maybe I didnt word myself correctly.

I will speak my mind however,which is what you did too,and If I cant then I suppose that I dont belong here either,because I sure cant deal with "know it alls".

Well, I glad he decided to remove himself, rather than get banned which is for life!  By deleting himself, it allows him to come back some time in the future.  I will look forward to some day again seeing those unique fish catching pics, and of course the mega-shades.  

Life goes on. Situations change. People come and go. A lot of people will miss him and some won't. I hope he decides to come back and be part of us someday.
