Kevin Fowler,Montgomery Gentry,Brad Paisley,Rodney Atkins,Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Garth Brooks, CARRIE UNDERWOOD  8-), i could go on for a long time but i'de have to say kevin fowler is my favorite and my favorite song of his is Long line of losers.

Fowler is great.  I also like Reckless Kelly and Jason Boland from Oklahoma.  Almost any of the red dirt bands from Texas and Oklahoma.  Bleu Edmonson, and many others.  RadioFreeTexas is a cool site to hear new and up and comers in the scene.  Standard radio play, I'd have to say Paisley, Jackson, Strait, etc.  I'm so oldschool it's hard to listen to alot of the new POP country.  ;)

A few years back at the Brickyard 400, we saw Montgomery Gentry perform the National Anthem.  They sounded great.

Sara Evans makes my heart skip a beat every now and then.

Don't own a truck,...never had a g/f leave me for a brother or my father,....I just can't relate to country music.

I listen  to alotcountry, however lately my age is showing and I have been listening to alot eighties hair bands, especially  Bret Micheals/Poison and Kiss. But here are my top five new country artists.

1. Montgomery Gentry

2. Jack Ingram

3. Miranda Lambert

4. Jason Aldean

5. Kenny Chesney.

Honorable mention- Tim McGraw- that remake he did of Eddie Rabbits "Suspicions" is awesome.

Oh snap, I forgot about Toby Keith, Sara Evans and Sugarland. I have seen Sara Evans, Terri Clark, and Sugarland before, as well as Montgomery Gentry. Sugarland is playing here next week at the NC Azalea Festival with Littel Big Town.

I don't like new country music.  It all sounds like pop music warmed over.  :(
