Photography anyone ??? (dial up beware-pic heavy)

Featured Replies

I have this Misc. page on my website, that I use for posting photos on line, when they need to published to the Internet first.

So, tonight I was scrolling back through some of my photography stuff, from my new Olympus DSLR camera I got last Winter. I was really starting to have fun with it (getting some successful shots)............ and then it was time for the Spring Bass bite ! Just not enough time in a lifetime. So what's a guy gonna' do ?

But anyway, here's some of my photography stuff. Hope you enjoy it.

Bravo!!!  Sweet pics!  Love the time lapse shot - very creative.  Excellent work, Chris.  Combined with the previous pics I've seen from you, you could publish a book.

Chris,

You have some serious talent for photography.  You could make quite a living just selling your photos.

Those shots are awesome.

I do enjoy photography, but, my pictures are no where near as nice as yours.  Very nice!

I like taking car pictures with my dads camera he has a 20d, but i will continue to seek different styles of photography. 14cs83n.jpg

FC,

WOW, those are some great color pics. Many moons ago (before digital) I had a SLR 35mm that I played with a lot. I was always interested in B&W. You could always tell a good pic, when you got the composition just right...

Thank you for making me want to move to Cali even more!

Those pics are beautiful. Nice work Chris!  :)

Photography is one of my favorite hobbies, just behind fishing and hunting.  I can do one while doing the other.

I dabble in photos a little myself. I take a camera with me when deer hunting and do some "shooting" while waiting for a "trophy" size one to come by.

I do a little amateur photography myself.

Here is cool close up of my favorite soup, before it becomes soup. Also works well in fritters  ;D

your photography looks great too !

Hey ls1jay, all of your stuff looks really good, but I especially like the frogs :-)

Peace,

Fish

Really would like to get into this although it would tax even more time and money in my huge list of hobby's.  I think I will definitely keep atleast a disposable around at all times now and start taking some shots whenever I can.

Hey ls1jay, all of your stuff looks really good, but I especially like the frogs :-)

Thanks Chris! I'm kinda fond of the frogs myself. I've had a fascination with Bull Frogs since I was a little kid. Not quite sure why though. :-?

My turn, My turn!!

My stuff is VERY amateur.  All stuff that "a guy fishin'" can stumble across.  I think nature/scenery/wildlife has to be the easiest topic to get good pics for, you just need to be out there experiencing it and

mother nature does the rest.  Composition and such is achieved much easier with Mom nature helping IMO.

I took class once that made me realize 1 thing.  It's very easy to "capture" a pic, very hard to "create" one.

Anyway,...some amazing new ones here guys!!!  Some of mine are older and have been seen here before but a few may be new to some so I'll throw some up anyway.

Very nice stuff ! I like the critters :-) The ice is nice to look at.... but I sure couldn't handle living there ! No ice fishing for me. My luck, I'd have a 10" hole, and stick a fish that was 12 inches in diameter ! :-)

Peace,

Fish

Dude, they'd have to make a special auger blade just for you.... ::);)

All stuff that "a guy fishin'" can stumble across.

Russ,

Where you fishing in the toilet again?  ;D

Very nice pics everyone!

Very nice, all.    Sigh, I used to do this stuff too, until I turned the hobby into a business.  Now I don't do photography as a hobby anymore. B&W was my true passion.

just some of my favorites. :D

I took photography for a few years in college, back in the early 90's. Still have my old school Minolta SLR 35. Always wanted a medium format camera but couldn't afford the $$$. I'll find some stuff to scan.
