This is one crazy goose

Wow that thing was rabid!  I have never seen anything like that.  Neat video.

You must have been near his nest.

The pair at my local pond knows me now and they actually come within five feet of me with their three gooslings. They no longer run away and they rest and eat where I am fishing.

Until they got used to me the male would come over and make a big scene while she was on the nest and after the chicks were hatched.

Geese can be formidable opponents.

Now I know to keep my distance from those buggers.

I am not a big fan of geese. They remind me of roosters. Man I hate roosters. There was this one rooster that used to live on this street that my girlfriends and I used to have to walk past  him every day comming home from  school. That sucker used to chase us everyday! It never caught me but it did catch a few of my friends. To this day I am no fan of roosters.

We have a good size family at our lake too.  It's always cool to see the new babies every spring,......till one night, when you are counting them, they go from 4 babies to 3 right in front of you!!  Same area I hit a 7.11 in the night before.

I'd rather have a Goose chase me than a Rooster.  The rooster has that claw on the heel like a Raptor.  Geese have a neck that you can grab like that guy did.  I must say, kudos to him for protecting his dog and also not hurting the Goose, both on purpose or accidentally.

If that was my dog that would have been his lunch.

I can not stand roosters or geese or pretty much any large bird.

I had one of these darn things come after me when I was canoeing one day on the river but I had an oar so I won. This goose is way meaner.

That is hilarious! If only that would happen to me during hunting season. ;D
