I seen that on espn.  May god bless him and his family.   It makes me wonder also why don't they leave the end of the tracks open in case something like this happens.  Seems to me he would have had a chance if it was not for the wall at the end.  

a terrible blow to NHRA... he is a well like competitor and well be greatly missed... my thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and two young sons...

I remember when Scott was young, and would get in the way all the time at the garage. His dad Connie and Roy Steffy were instrumental in mine and my best friend's success in drag racing stock cars, back in the '60's

My prayers go out to Connie and his family for such a huge loss.
