Anybody lie?

Featured Replies

First thing you should have done when you noticed your stuff was missing should have been to drive back home and go into the house panicing.  When she asked you what was the matter.  Tell her that all of your gear is missing and that you have called the police department and they are sending an office over so you came home to meet them.

That should get her to fess up really quick.

Oh, the joys of being single....

:)

Maybe you should go get a couple of G-loomis rods and a couple new revos and tell her that you had to replace what someone stole ;D

Now that is a qaulity solution

Didn't the first post say fiance? There are two things in life that DO NOT EVER fix existing problems- getting married and having a baby.

Unless you just forgot and she really was kidding around, that looks like it could be a big warning signal of fights to come... I would fix it now so it doesn't become an issue throughout your marriage. Set some ground rules and get on the same page now and you'll be much happier later.

On a separate note, we each get "fun money" (allowance) on payday to be spent on whatever or saved as desired. I opened a checking account with mine and now use a debit card for all my hunting, fishing and "other" discretionary purchases, without worry of "our" checkbook.

It won't solve your problems but it might alleviate some of the arguments over fishing gear and whatever her "fishing gear" would be.

I would say she has you by the short hairs. Does she dominate your relationship. You are not married to her yet , she has no right to control what you do with your money. WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

x2 great advice ,  great post

Ouch... haha. Yeah, i'd say that she has me now. I'm not exactly sure what to do to get my fishing stuff back.

Well guys, I got my stuff back. She never confessed to having it, but it turned back up in my boat. I did a little pay back that she wasn't expecting. As soon as I saw that it was back I walked back in the house and told her to come with me. We went to the local shop and got locking hatches and a lock bar for all my compartments on my boat... you should have seen the look on her face, but she was to stubourn to admit that she did it. haha.

Thanks for all your posts guys, Most of them had me rolling on the ground laughing.

Build a nice comfy tree house, sounds like you are going to be sleeping there quite often.

I'll be frank here.

Was it really that big of a deal.  You forgot about something.  So what?

If she is going to act like that the locks you needed to change are the door locks on your house!

A relationship won't work without compromise.

Seriously,if my girl hid my stuff...i'm kicking her out the door.

Sure i may get yelled at once in a grand while, but usually i'm pretty good at letting her know i want something and if we have extra money(bills paid off). She buys her little things too.
