Great story. Just sorry that we have to pay to incarserate the other. It is generally not wise to attempt a lot of things in this state. Everyone, and I mean everyone is packing and not afraid to whip it out and more importantly squeese the trigger. Just sharpens up the eyesite before season opens. We do not need gun ranges here. Just take a ride and you can get all the sighteing in you need. God Bless the hand gun, shotgun, AR-15, etc.,  and the people willing to pop a cap in someone's a-- when they have it comming.

Yep, as the bumper sticker says: "Don't mess with Texas."

;D ;D ;D same has happened here in indiana a couple times, homeowner wasn't charged either time. some people have to learn the hard way.

Messing with Texans was half of fun during hunting season in Colorado. Of course, as soon as you got 100 yards away from the road, they seemed to dissapear ;D

Well said 4bizz ;)

That is great. Something like that happened in South Carolina except it was an old lady(70-ish) with a .22 pistol who made the burgler call the cops and had him in the prone position until they came.

I really don't think we are any different from any other area. I lived in Alabama 13 years and they would put one in you just as quick. Suspect it will be the same anywhere. You ask for it and there will be someone right along that will dish it out for you.
