Don't worry, if it comes down to it just take care of room and board and I'll take your exams.

Muddy,

What's so hard about math?

1 + 1 = 2 unless you are an accountant or a politician.

In either of the two above cases, if you are an accountant he can make the answer anything you want.

In case you are a politician you can lie about the answer and everyone will believe you.  ;D

And one more thought....we are either math or verbal proficient.  You must be verbal.  I am 50-50 as per the tests I have taken which makes me "strange."

So try to talk your way out of the problems.  ;D   ;D   ;D

Hey Muddy if you get stuck send me a PM. I've tutored some people in both of the areas. I'll do what I can.

I feel you Dom.  I put off college Algebra until my senior year.  That's been almost 20 years.  Now my daughter brings home 4th grade homework (not unlike what Mrs. Matstone posted once) and I struggle with it at times.  It looks like you've got a good support system here and some good tutors.  Good luck with it!

4pt! 4pt! 4pt!

Thanks fellas; BTW SAM; If you are a politician and someone asks you how much is 1+1 you have 2 answers

1 We have to form a committe to look into this

2. That One>>>> ;D

Muddy, don't sweat it. If you have a 4.0 GPA going in one class is not going to kill you. Focus on passing.

Beeen at it for hours, I may need remedial math. I m getting hammered, this sucks :-/

Two things Muddy:

1) What are you working on?

2) Being on BR isn't helping you with it. I know because I'm trying to get something done too.

I am up to a remidial program, Linear Equations and a big time refresher program on fractions and then graphing. I spoke with the Prof, he suggested at first that i take 15 mins every 1 1/2 hours, hence drifting here.

I spoke with him, he said i am farther along than he thought, he asked me to walk away from it for at least an hour, I am on my out out for some food, then back at it

My boss just let me take a vacation day Monday, after i cone in and eneter the payroll, I REFUSE TO QUIT

Lata and thanks

First of all, it's nice to see all the help being offered, you guys are awesome.

I'm with you too Muddy, I'm one of those arts/science brains,...not math.  I was fine with it till they started throwing letters into the mix, lol.

I have no problem as long as it's something that can be proven, once the math goes abstract,....so do I,lol.

Good luck old man,...you've done a phenomenal job so far and set a good example for some of us older folks who may be considering filling the brain a little more.  The end is near though,...keep that nose down and keep grinding, you can do it.

Hey Muddy,

I've got your answer

Go to Google and type in webmath

My 12 year old is doing alot of math in 6th grade that I didn't do until HIGH school and like you I also have forgotten how to do it but this site walks you through every type of equation known to man.

I highly reccomend it.Let me know if it is useful to you.

The only 4.0 I had in school was called blood alcohol content.
