Great photos guys, I miss the changing of the seasons.  I grew up in the foothills of NC and now the only changes I get to see is from green to brown, overnight.

My family and I have been going camping down there every Columbus day weekend for about 3 years in a row now, since we were told about it by some friends of ours. We became hooked the 1st time and kept coming back. It's one hidden jewl that i'm glad we found! :)

Gotta admit it, the scenery is beautiful, those changing colors are a true sight however I prefer where I 'm at.

Back in October of 2001 I was at StLouis, traveled to several places ( Purina Farms, The School of Veterinary Medicine at the MO University ) which allowed me to travel through the country side, we were taken to a lil town called Herman to visit the winery, pretty kool place but it was windy that day ....... I returned butt frozen to the hotel  :o.

Some good area 51 footage

I can never view those vid's of yours. But the Area 51 I'm talking about has golf balls whizzing by! Bring a helmet...that is of course, if you survive the 300 yard decent through the bowling ball sized rock field.   :o

Don't know what was worse... getting down, or getting back up.

Ahh.. Hermann during Octoberfest.

That used to be a great day long visit for the wife and I during our courting days and there after.  Spent the first night of our honeymoon in a bed and breakfast there.

Then the college kids discovered what fun it can be to rent a tour bus, come down to Hermann during october and get drunk on wine.  They ruined it for everyone.
