The banjo minnow

Featured Replies

I was watching tv this morning and saw the banjo minnow. I wanted to try it out but I wanted to see if anyone has tried them and if they are good. ;)

There is still a thread running on page 2 of this section:

If you run a "search" you will find another 100 threads.

That product has been in production for many years. The best way to find out how good it is, go to a local fishing tackle shop and see how many they have in stock. If you don't see any (assume they are sold out), ask when they are going to get some more in.

Or you could just buy some flukes, not have to worry about the extra rigging steps, and then out-produce the banjo minnow.  Just a thought ;)

The Banjo Minnow works. Flukes work the same. Flukes are cheaper / easier to get. Hook ups are a little better with Banjo Minnows, although both are pretty good.

That just about sums it up.
