Just got home from dropping my kid off from head start school, the UPS lady dropped off my package and put a shovel in front of it to conceal from view so people don't steal it.

That's a first, because UPS used to suck around here.I'm Glad they got a new driver for around here because that's just "Class A excellent job.Very Very Smart! No problems from TW to delivery here!

I would have barried it in the snow and left you a note to follow the footsteps for a suprise. ;D

Thats really cool.  Nice of them to do that.

Yep,it's the first time i ever seen that done.I had a few problems in the past about packages getting stolen around here.

still sucks here...it took 54 hrs. for my new reel to get from chino, ca. to texas.

and i'm still 2 states away.     >:(

That is someone who takes pride in her job.

What if someone wanted to steal your shovel? :-?  ;D

She has to hide it. If it gets stolen, she pays for it I believe.

This is the time of year when people follow UPS trucks and pick up packages.

I'd have a problem then... ;D.Not sure who wants a cheap plastic shovel.

I did not know they'd have to pay for it if it got stolen.  :o

Our mail lady leaves our big packages in our cars.

lmao, nice.

I have come to believe that if everyone gave that little bit of extra effort and took pride in what they were doing, we would have a lot less problems. I am always shocked when I see someone working and being sloppy or lazy. If I do something, I take pride in doing it right and to the best of my abilities. Period.

You'd be amazed at some of the lengths I've gone to for customers, especially around Xmas.  Kids are home during the day and presents are showing up in the brown truck.  I go get mom first, then we figure where I will leave it while she distracts the kids.  Happens all the time.

So you are Santa Claus?

Nah, he's just an elf.

Same here Russ. It's part of the challenge. I like to use "urban camouflage" when I can. A flower pot, a door mat etc. Today I used a pumpkin.  :)

Regardless of the time of year, Russ always asks to speak to Mom.  Perhaps, one day, he will get lucky and meet a VERY grateful Mom.

What do you mean "lucky"?

Is she gonna give him clothes that her kids grew out of or what?
