Wiper blades

Featured Replies

I've tried them all, as far as I know, and they all are crap.  Anco, Michelan, napa, etc.  Anyone found one that they are real happy with?

I usually buy anco but I have heard that the Rain X blades are really good. They have a bend in them so the pressure creates a tight seal and whisks everything away.

Rain-X has been the best of the bad for me.   :(

For living in an area with a lot of snow, like Chicago, do I need to get specialty wiper blades?  If so, anyone recommend a particula winter wiper blade?

I've always used Anco blades, with no problems to speak of.

+1 No need to look any further.

Those Bosch Icon blades look amazing. I see them as a self-Christmas present very soon.

Alright, the Bosch Icons it is.

Thanks.

Do yourself a huge favor in addition to the Bosch blades - get a bottle of Rain X and apply it to all of your exterior widows. I thought the stuff was some junk gimmick, but it works great.

One thing though, make sure your glass is absolutely spotless before you put it on, it works better.

Rain-X on the outside of the windshield applied and removed with separate microfiber cloths... Stoner's Invisible Glass sprayed on the inside and removed with crumpled up newspaper. Spotless.  ;)

There's no need for the Rain X.  Just use the Rain-X wiper fluid.

I've tried every wiper on the market over the last 16 years.  Those are the best I've found and the only blade I will use.  I just replaced the blades on my truck.  They lasted almost two years (and would have lasted longer if I would keep a ice scraper in my vehicle).

we have Rain X blades, the work good!
