To keep this from becoming a religious post I'll just say that after reading this thread, the "agnostic" is making a whole lot more sense than the "Redneckustic." :-X

In this day and age when people get offended over small stuff, it is easier to have your employees say "Happy Holidays" in order not to offend anyone.

Its about money for retailers, municipal, educational and service organizations.

Regarding regular people doing their own thing, they can say whatever they wish.

If one wants to aviod offending anyone this is the easy way out for those who want to go along with the flow and not create a bad situation when confronting crazy people.

I know many Jewish people who say Merry Christmas and they are not offended.  After all, Jesus was Jewish.

I say Merry Christmas. And I could give a rat's behind what anyone else says.

I think he's over thinking it. "Happy Holidays" in the past has typically covered the "Christmas" and "New Years" celebration.

You could all just be like me and instead say "Have a good one."

No no i dont get mad at all but since "others" think saying happy holidays to me means im suppose to say it  to THEM they are the ones who get mad yall forget "we iz soup-pose to say happy holidays"  so as not to offend THEM not the other way around ..MERRY CHRISTMAS has history happy holidays is just a weak way to express yourself
