Where can I find the info that Glenn posted on upgrading to IE7 ?

Well I'm still blind ::) I can't find it for looking. I have a PC in my shop and was trying to do some upgrades on it. I also down loaded Trend Micro on a disc and tried to get that on there also with no luck. I'll be needing HELP before something gets broke in the shop. ;D

Chekc here torwards the bottom of the page, click internet explorer, and it will show a menu which includes E7. This is the download for windows xp.

Or you can go to this page and choose your operating system.

Anyone else try IE7 and uninstall it like me? I'm a creature of habit and didn't care for it (reminds me too much of Vista which I hate).

You hated IE7!? Man, I love it. Having the multiple tabs, and some of the other little gadgets is just awesome. I despise IE 6 now. You do need to grab the google toolbar and enable the search and popup blocker though.

Course I also did not mind Vista, IF (and this is a huge IF), it is installed on proper hardware. This whole screw up MS did with putting the Vista ready sticker on PCs that could only run basic was such a monumental screwup, it is beyond words. A lot of the hate behind Vista comes from that screw up and I do not blame people. I reluctantly took a 64 bit Vista laptop at work and have been mostly very happy with the OS.

Read some posts a while back about mozilla firefox.  I think HookemDown was in on that.  Anyways, downloaded it and decided it was to radical of a change for me just yet.  Up graded to E7 and gonna use it for a time, and wean myself to firefox.  Just a matter of getting used to something different.  I remember hating the idea of upgrading 95 to 98.  Scared the hell out of me. ;D
