Fun rig and you can fish it deep, shallow or inbetween.

Be sure to use a light worm on a small hook.

Use a ROUND split-shot.  That is, you do not want the tag end sticking out - the end you put your pliers on to open it.

You want the totally round split-shots so you will not pick up the bottom slop or get it snagged often.

And you can use various split-shot weights to get the rig deeper or use it shallow.

It's a miniature Carolina rig.

Tie your hook at the end of the line and about 1-2 feet up, crimp a split shot.  I prefer the Water Gremlin Bullshot sinkers.  Add your favorite soft plastic on the business end and have at it.
