So I just got home from work , and sitting on the kitchen table is a new Falcon fishing rod , with the following note -

I guess you better keep her around for a while.

Looks like you have someone to fish with.  You have a keeper.

Oh she's a keeper alright . puts up with my fishing , dog training , hunting habits . What else could I ask for . Now if I could just get her to learn how to use a spinning reel or baitcaster and lures,  all would be good ( that woman is stuck on the ol' 33 and live bait )

Keep it simple.

Get her a spinning rig and several XCalibur Xr50 or maybe

plain ole Rat-L-Traps. After she catches a few bass, you will have

her turned around and can work on some other techniques, lures

and presentations.

Mine is happy to get rid of me.

My wife and me are planning on hitting the water together more this year, too.  She's beyond live bait and a Zebco, but still not as hardcore as I am.  

If my wife did that, she would be looking for a new place to live.
