Army of Darkness isn't a zombie flick.  Nor is The Evil Dead or Evil Dead 2.

regaurdless , it does have zombie/demons in it as far as i can remember...

yup. probably one of the better Zombie movies. My brother is a zombie fanatic. He has movies that are decades old, remakes of different versions, sequels, prequels, etc. He has a whole movie binder filled with them. Most of them are more ridiculous than scary but there are some good ones in there too.

Shaun of the Dead gets my vote.

Not enough guns.

True, but still awesome!  :)

Burley,

Sorry.  I thought you were writing about NBC's morning show.  :D   ;D   :D

Are you talking about the original or the remake?

Dire Straits records are more effective.

One of my favorite scenes is where the Zombie walks up a step ladder under the spinning heliocopter blades...LMAO

You were so close with this title to something else I thought you was going to talk about.  Door of the Dead was on truTV Friday night with the story on your parents almost neighbors.   DVRed it and watched it before coming to work.  Talk about some funny stuff.

That may be coming soon. ;)

if youre talking about the remake that came out a few yrs ago i have to agree its the best zombie movie by far. the first 10 minutes are intense.

the scene with the fat lady that dies at the store was great.

The remake was fantastic. Nice music too..........'Get up, come on get down with the sickness' Too many parts to name one a favorite....zombie baby was kind of awesome as was the gun shop owner sniping Jay Leno/Burt Reynolds. ;D

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't this the first zombie flick where the dead RUN at their prey and not just shuffle/stumble about?

Also, IMO Shaun of the Dead sucked. Most of the British attempts at humor sucks. Black Adder and Monty Python are the exceptions.

30 Days of Night was a great movie

Ouch. I respectfully disagree. A friend loaned me his backup DVD (yeah, he bought it and backed it up) and after watching it I told him he wasted .20 on that blank DVD.

28 Days Later was really good and 28 weeks later was pretty good.

It was watchable, but there wasn't much of a story there.  Plus it wasn't a zombie movie, so why bring it up?

Technically they were vampires.

28 days later was pretty good. And the newer Dawn of the dead was pretty awesome. Safe to say that the asian zombie with no arms was the fastest zombie known to man. He ran the 40 in 4.2. lol but he couldnt catch the ball . lol
