The rooster rocks. Very versatile. Added it to a Bloody Mary the other day-not bad, not bad at all.

I have a bottle of sriracha. I love me some hot sauce, but not that stuff so much.

This has been my favorite for the last few years.

Is it more towards a garlic taste or a tabasco taste?

The Rooster is alright but have you ever tried Szechuan Hot Chili Oil? That's snappin! 8-)

Since I'm chinese/viet and that sauce being in every asian persons kitchen, I would have to say I don't like it. I prefer other hot sauces, but if you have Pho, it's a must... my mom makes great pho at home and I'm so blessed to be able to eat it once a week. I don't have to pay $7 for a bowl of crap with too much m.s.g. at the restaraunt.

A lot of sauces focus just on being hot. I like the kind that has flavor also.

Do you have a recipe for homemade Hot Chili Oil?

I can recommend you a brand. This brand is great for putting in your chinese soup eg. instant noodles for some spice, dumplings, and use it for cooking. My mom doesn't bother to make anything which she can buy better. This brand is the best. Try to get it or let me know if you want.
