There are few things I hate more than a thief

Featured Replies

I woke up this morning at 500am to my doorbell ringing....that can't be good, I immediately thought.  A neighbor, on the way to work, was passing by my house and noticed the trunk and driver's door on my Nissan wide open, interior lights on.  He did not want to touch anything but came to let me know something was up.

I went out in the dark to check it out, and initially thought they just grabbed some random junk out of the car.....cheap sunglasses, some music, a 12 pack of Dr Pepper.  It was not until later that I realized that a brand new set of Columbia rain gear that I'd bought at Academy was also in the trunk, and also now gone.

Thankfully, I had removed 2 big boxes of new lures and plastics from the trunk just a few days earlier, but I'm steamed about the rain gear.

Anyway, just remember to take stuff out of your car at night and don't leave out anything not nailed down.  Man, I would love to have woke up in time to have stopped these jerks.  >:(

Let me know if you see my rain gear at the pawn shop  :'(

Sorry about what happened, but who do you hate more than a thief?

Child molesters.  If it was up to me, every one of those creeps would serve ninety-nine years in the electric chair.

I know the feeling.  When I was 17 I saved for months to buy a nice sound system for my car.  I had it for no more than 2 weeks before some **** stole it.  Seriously, that is one of the first things that you learn as a child:  you do not touch other people's stuff.  It leaves you feeling really violated.

That sure is a shame man! Id be severally ticked too!

Just a few weeks ago i had nearly 100 bucks stolen from me. It was 3 seperate times. I finally figured out it was happening in my P.E. class. I then got a new locker and combo and its stopped since then!

I hope you find the guy!

My daughter was kidnapped, raped, and murdered.  I have a concealed weapon permit and won't hesitate to intervene in a situation where assault or life is at stake, but thieves are nothing but a minor annoiance. Be thankful you only lost a few replacable objects.

Wow, that really puts it into perspective.  I'm sorry to hear that.

Don't forget those who commit violent crimes against the elderly!  >:(

My heart is filled with sorrow, but my gut feels nothing but hatred for

the perpetrator.

Exactly my thoughts after reading that. It makes me sick knowing that there is always going to be those kind out there.

That is horribly sad! Bass or Bass?, you have my sincerest condolences. If this walking POS hasn't been found, I pray you find them, and that you are carrying & take care of the business that needs taking care of.

May you have God's blessing.

I appreciate everyones sincere messages. My daughter, Zosha Lee Pickett, born July 15, 1983, was kidnapped from her bed while she slept, taken @ 3/4 of a mile away to an abandoned car where she was raped and killed , June 27, 1986, in Tucson Arizona .The crime triggered what was at the time the second largest manhunt in Arizona history. The crime went unsolved for 5 years. The perpitrator was eventually found, tried, and convicted November 12, 1992, and executed June 19, 1996. I watched this human garbage die in the executation chamber at the Arizona state prison, Florence Arizona. He was a serial child rapist/murderer. A sad coincidence of the case was that a little girl burried diagonally from Zosha, Cathy Fritz, was also raped and murdered by this monster three years earlier. Zosha's mother and I moved to Phoenix one year after the crime to escape the media and public attention.  I married again in 1991 to a great lady who's husband, a Maricopa County Sheriff's Office detention officer, was murdered in August of 1986. Together we have forged a new and hopeful, if sometimes very difficult , life. Thanks again for your kind thoughts.

Sincerely, Allen Pickett
