Winter rears its ugly head again!

Featured Replies

Just after a good outing to my "semi-private" lake, here comes old man winter one more time.  The water temps. were in the low 60's last Saturday and we caught over 25 bass.  I wake up this morning to 37 degrees, north wind and rain.  I know we need the rain, so I'll suffer through.  Temps are supposed to be back in the upper 60's by next week.

I feel your pain , Yesterday was 63 and raining , woke up this morning to a crisp 19 w/ a high of 34 today . Man I need to move south

yeah, the up and down weather has been cruel. Just when the lake's are getting close to being ready to fish it gets cold again. But fortunately the heated water on the river has the smallmouth action going very well so the winter blues are gone.

This mornings wind-chill was -1*  >:(, but its supposed to be 50* by Sunday, so I'm thinking I'll get out then.
