Sportsman's Warehouse has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.  Previously, the company had closed 23 stores and laid off 2,000 employees.

Don't surprise me none.

total bummer for me...  out store was greatness!!  I'll miss it for sure.

I've never had the pleasure.  There's a store near here (Lewisville, Tx) and one on the way to Ark. (Texarkana).  I've always wanted to stop in, but the family has been with me each time.  They don't seem to see the importance of wondering aimlessly around in a tackle store.  :

I wonder if any of the stores are offering big clearance discounts or will they ship all their stuff out to other retailers?
