Down south perch is a general term for Bream and Sunfish. If I get bored and the bass ain't biting I'll fish in a kittle creek about 1 mile from my house. They have a TON of perch and stuff. They're kinda fun to catch when you don't have anything else to fish for. Plus I'll take a bunch of 'em and stock them in my buddies pond they just built.
