Planning on hitting the lake after work, brought my boat in with me.  No rain in the forecast, so I didn't put the boat into the garage.  Go outside around 2:30 to catch a few samples, see lightning, then get caught in the rain.  Managed to get the boat in the garage before it got too wet.  

Only thing I really hate about summer (other than mowing my yard) is all of the damned T-storms that pop up out of nowhere and manage to soak everything.

If you had Shimano reels on the boat it would never get wet.  

Was planning to hitting a pond this Sunday morning and when I went out to get the newspaper, guess what? Rain!

That was  a surprise.

So I know how you feel, or as Jimmy Carter said, "I feel your pain."

Should have put some Shimano reels on the boat to ward off the rain.  ;D

I love , right before a pop up Tstorm, if it's safe you can catch some really large/agressive fish right before it rolls in on over you!

I keep a towel in a zip loc bag to keep the boat seat dry. Nothing worse than trying to fish all day with a nasty case of

I hate a wet boat.  The bottom is fine wet, the topside no.  Doesn't help that I just washed it too.

I also hate garaging a wet boat.  The carpet smells to high heaven the next day.
