Free MMA tonight & tomorrow

Featured Replies

Get the cold beer & the hot wings ready.  Lawler v Shields, Diaz v Smith, Arlovski v Rogers, etc tonight on Showtime.  Faber v Brown II, Aldo v Swanson, etc tomorrow on VS.  Couple of pretty d**n good cards for no PPV.  If you have not seen Aldo, watch tomorrow--he should maul Swanson & then fight the winner of Faber v Brown for the strap.  The dude is an animal.

I see the Faber v. Brown II being a better, longer fight than last time, but I still see Mike Brown coming out on top

I hope so man, last time wasn't even fun to watch, especially when your a Faber fan.

Didn't go like I hoped on the strikeforce card.  Really wanted to see Lawler get the w, and REALLY wanted Diaz to get KTFO.  Not sure what to think about tonight's main event.  I've seen Faber thrash so many dudes that it's hard to bet against him, but Brown is a stud.  If I had to choose I'd say Brown via close decision.  Would love to see Pulver pick up the win---but afraid the game has passed him by.

I was at the Strikeforce fights last night. Pretty decent night of fights (Being on the 3rd row made it pretty exciting as well). This was the first MMA event I have ever attended. Biggest surprise of the night was Arlovski getting knocked out in 22 seconds..Brett Rogers may be for real.

ETA: It was cool to meet a couple of the bigger names in the sport. Tim Sylvia was in the front row right in front of us. Fedor Emelianenko was to the right of us about 20 seats. Fedor rocks-he looks like he is physically out of shape, but when he looks at you, he has this stare that just says "I can beat the crap out of most people on this planet". ;D We got introduced to both of them, unfortunately, we forgot a camera so no pics.

Wow, Arlovski KO'd in 22 seconds? That is a surprise.

As for Brown vs. Faber tonight, I think Faber will be a little more focused and ready this time around. Will that be enough to get his belt back? Who knows....I wouldn't lay money on either guy in this fight. Should be a good one though, cant wait to watch it.

the final countdown GO CALIFORNIA KID!!!

not tonight. florida baby. right side!!!!

ya ya ya bocabasser brown beat some1 with a broken hand.. congrats.. you ever tried fighting with a broken hand??? huh? didnt think so. brown didnt land one hit.. nough said.. theyll meet again. good fight though!

and that was browns fault that the kid broke his hand? brown already beaten him once before. brown has already defended the title in awesome fashion. there is no doubt that faber will get a third shot after this fight though, but mike is legit and losers should stop booing and hating him because they're jealous at his success.

I was sort of angry he busted both hands up. We would have saw a better fight if his hands were healthy. I also think Faber would have won if his hands weren't broken. He had Brown in a deep submission at one point. Brown was on his back and couldn't do a thing, but Faber couldn't hold it partially from his busted hands. Brown was booed because he was in CA in Fabers hometown. If this fight was in FL Faber would have been getting booed. So from you saying they hate him and they are jealous all I can do is just laugh.

Was a pretty nice fight and I would like to see how it would have turned out had Faber not gotten injured, but I still think Brown would have just bullied him around anyway.  Aldo v Brown is gonna be huge.

Must've been nice for Brown not having to worry about that right hand for 4 1/2 rounds. LOL!

I think Faber could've done something if he had both hands, especially on that submission late in the 5th. He had him where he wanted him but couldnt crank down on it. I noticed Faber didnt try any of that fancy stuff that got him knocked out in the first fight. Good decision there.

I agree about the Aldo/Brown fight. That Aldo kid is for real. He took out Swanson (one of WEC's better fighters) in 8 seconds and cut him up pretty bad with that knee to the skull.

I cant believe Pulver got handled like he did. A few fights ago he went 5 rounds with Faber, now he gets mauled by a newcomer. Come on Jens! Man up! You cant go out like that!

I'm afraid Lil' Evil is done.  Hope Zuffa does the right thing and puts him in the HOF.  War old school Miletich!

Regardless of where the fight was, brown would of been booed unless it was his hometown. Faber is definitely a fan favourite and people can't accept the fact that Brown is still the champ and not giving him the respect and credit he deserves. After this fight, people will still question him if he is a true champion, which in my opinion, he is. Sad to see people talking about how he would of lost if Faber's hand was not broken. Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda, Brown 2-0, looking forward to match 3.

Brown is the luckiest man in MMA  ;)

I am a Brown fan and even though the first fight was a fluke (Fabers fault for sure for making that mistake) I thought Brown would just be too strong and win it....He did win of course but a little weak that he could not finish Faber with one badly broken hand and the other very hurt.....No injury and im sure Faber would have taken this one.
