im a redwings fan, we got outplayed nough said. suck it up! penguins played a great game man.

this is pretty funny, and by the way detroit does not suck.

Man, this thread took several wrong turns. We're talking about hockey fans here, not every person that lives or has lived in the state of Michigan.

Come on, let's get it together....geeez, you guys are killin' me.

THANK YOU!

Come on guys, of course there are good things about Detroit,

There are? :-?

Good things about detroit? Hmm, let's see... it's not New Jersey... yep, that's about it...  ;D

Seriously though, an insult on a city isn't the same as an insult on it's people. I absolutely HATE the city of New York City, I personally find it to be revolting, but I also know some great people from New York and I know that New York is of massive cultural importance.

Ok, let's get this "Philly fans booing Santa Claus" thing settled once and for all.

First of all, it happened in 1968.

The Eagles were at the end of a horrible losing season.

There was supposed to be a halftime Christmas pageant, but the field was too screwed up from snow and mud.

So someone recruits a skinny 19 year kid from the stands to put on a Santa suit and jog around the field. THAT was the Christmas pageant.

Who here WOULDN'T throw snowballs and boo at that?? :D
