I just installed IE8 and it is running faster.

IE8 blows. You're better off with Firefox.

I think IE8 is ok, probably a little bit faster than IE7 but I have problems with new tabs not working correctly that page taking a very long time to load or not loading at all. This also happens with new windows also. Firefox 3.5 just recentely came out and it has some nice new features. I think I may start using it more.

You took the words right out of my mouth!!!

firefox is great but for some reason I can't get it to remember log in info so after numerous settings checks, re-installs and tweaks I have given up on it.  I went back to explorer, downloaded 8 and after a week remembered why I hate it so much.

I then installed google chrome.  Much faster and easier to use.

Anything but IE

Did you go to Tools>Options>Security>Passwords? Even if that didn't work there are add ons straight from the Mozilla website that will remember your passwords.

I really like Google Chrome. Very simple and easy to use. I would use it if not for a game I play online.
