After nearly 14 years, I have sold my truck that I have had since I started driving. I saved almost every penny I made for a year while waiting tables at IHOP on the weekends and payed $7500 in cash for her. My father, brother, and I have spent numerous hours fixing her when she got sick. She never broke down on me or left me stranded. I had a lot of good times in that truck. I hope the new owner treats her well. Now I am without a car for 11 days until my new truck gets here.

78' F-150, had it 2 years, then a moron hit me head on, ripped both axles out from under his 2000 F-250, I pulled his off the road with mine, they totaled mine, but fixed his. That old girl was a tank...I miss that old 10 mpg 400 modified.

Well im only 17, but my vehicle is 1981 f-100. Love the truck, ever since ive gotten it ive been rebuilding it. Shes gunna be a beaut once im done.

used to have a 66 impala with the 2 speed power glide.

I had a 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse, 5 speed with a 2.0 liter turbo.  It was the first generation Eclipse, which many consider to be one of the best sport-touring cars ever produced.  I loved that car.

But as I was driving it one day, at around 120,000 miles, the harmonic balancer (a $60 fix) broke loose, and in the process broke the a/c compressor, alternator, power steering pump, and power brakes.  Looked in the rear view to see parts the size of footballs cartwheeling down the road behind me, while the warning lights lit up like a Christmas tree.  Yeah, it was not the best thing to have happen at 80 mph

My first car was a forest green 1966 ford mustang fastback with pony interior. I saved my money while working for Publix bagging groceries making $2.65 HR. I paid $3500 for it in 1976 when I started driving. It had a 289 4V with a toploader 4 speed trans. I loved the teardrop shaped roofline and the cockpit feel of the driver seat. The car was alot of fun. The car had manual steering and drum brakes on all four wheels. During the 80's I rebuilt the car a couple of times, and updated to front disc brakes and tighter suspension, and I finally sold her in 1998 for $7500.

My first vehicle was a 1959 Chevy Impala bought in 1962. I kept it for two years.

My first car was a 1962 Chevy Biscayne. My Dad gave it to me as a thank you for all the work I did on the new house. I drove it for two years, then I got my 1966 Ford Fairlane GT.

1986 Audi 5000s Turbo (5 cylinder) (yes, that says 5) got her up to 146 mph one time................

1985 Ranger.  tan.  V6.  Had 187k on it when I bought it off my uncle just before the start of my senior year of HS.  Sold her last year and put 100k on her in 10 years.

1982 Cutlass Supreme, two door with the velour interior, it was like driving around a couch. What a great car.

keep im mind im 21...but when I was 16 I bought a 1986 Chevy S-10 for $150. Man was that thing a piece of crap! After completly tearing it down and redoing a lot on it it was looking and running good. Painted it myself! Sold her last year for $600...not a bad turn around considering I put about $300 in it.
