Prayers needed for one of my students!

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I just got word that one of my former students (who is a sophomore now) has been diagnosed with Leukemia and is going in for surgery and immediate chemo treatments tomorrow.  Please lift him and his family up in your prayers for the next few weeks.  His name is Josh.

God bless,

Stacy

Prayers sent.  Hope that the young man fights the good fight and beats it.

prayers sent x2. I have a friend fighting non hotchkins lymphoma right now. He was diagnosed with it a little over a year ago and after chemo they said it was in remission but a blood test came back about 2 weeks ago and it has grown back. Time for him to go through the entire routine again. Thank god the government is picking up most of the bill.

Prayers sent man. My father got AML when I was a senior in High school. Not fun, but he made it through, and that has been a long while.

Keep your hopes up.

Thanks guys.  I found out today that they were taking some bone marrow to find the source (or severity) of the cancer.  We are told that there is a 65% recovery rate.  I'll keep you updated.
