Dink Whisperer?

Featured Replies

Haven't seen Dink post on here in awhile. Just wondering if anyone knows where he has gone? Did I miss something? It seemed like he was posted 10+ times a day on the Fishing Rods, Reels, and Lines board. Hope everything is well.

Unfortunately, he is no longer a member of the forum.  Seemed like a good guy too.

WOW! I am really shocked. I was busy for a couple weeks and must have missed it. Too bad.

Is one able to view the board once they are banned, just not post anything? J/W

I think they can see the posts but not any media (pics or videos) that are posted. Obviously they cannot post.

No.

No.

Are you sure? I know someone who was banned and he says he can still read posts but he just can't login to anything.

Might depend on the extent of the ban. Care to try it out?

Now THAT's funny! He's kidding folks...kidding! ;D

Seriously though, when somebody starts attacking other members, provoking fights, or becomes disruptive and unruly, they get banned, or at the very least, suspended. Nobody is above that rule. Nobody.

it depends on how the mask is set on the ip ban.

Yeah, I was just offering to ban Dan for about 10 minutes so he could see if he could still view pages while banned. Nothing permanent.  ;)

Its ALWAYS the quiet ones...........   LOL

Yep

Look for the parental advisory. You will find the one formerly known as Dink. ;)

While we are on the subject, what about TI Lightning or TI bassing can't remember. His name was Paul and I think he helped Glenn do something for a while. Heck I even fished with him in NY a couple years ago. Haven't seen him in a long time.

Just post a thread about how the Revo STX sucks.  That should flush him out.   ;D

Yep, that would probably do it lol.

Yes it would.lol

Later, :)

it depends on how the mask is set on the ip ban.

That and how set they are on getting on here. All they have to is go to some place with free Wifi and the IP would change

There is no possible way to keep a half way knowledeable person from accessing an internet forum. Granted you can suspend/ban a specific login, or even attempt to block a specific IP.  In the end they can always come back, just never with their original forum account.
